Open Campus ... was für eine grottenschlechte Veranstaltung! Alles was höher als 1m ist, wird ignoriert. Eigentlich nur ein Sommerfest für Kleinkinder und egoistische Yuppieeltern, die sich schon im Shuttlebus zum Kotzen aufführen. Nie wieder!

Interned here for 2 months during summers as a postgraduate student. I had a good time here! The campus is situated Klosterneuburg which is in the outskirts of Vienna. Around the institute we find some beautiful hiking trails.

Beautiful campus nurturing great minds. Constructions are new and elegant. Easily accessible from Vienna by Institute shuttle buses. I stayed at the guesthouse which provides clean and affordable rooms for the visitors. The neighbourhood is calm and the woods nearby.

IST Austria ist ein multidisziplinäres, Forschungsinstitut, das Grundlagenforschung mit akademischer Ausbildung verbindet. Unsere Wissenschafter_innen betreiben theoretische und experimentelle Forschung in den Bereichen mathematische und physikalische Wissenschaften, Life Sciences sowie Informations- und Systemwissenschaften. Sie sind in kleinen bis mittelgroßen Forschungsgruppen organisiert, die auch über die Grenzen traditioneller Disziplinen hinweg zusammenarbeiten.
