Vienna Drum School - Schlagzeugunterricht in Wien

Unser Sohn, derzeit 9 Jahre alt, nimmt seit fast zwei Jahren Schlagzeugunterricht bei Florian. Mit viel Geduld, Flexibilität und pädagogischem Gespür schafft es Florian jedes Mal aufs Neue, unseren Sohn zu motivieren und für das Schlagzeug zu begeistern. Wir sind sehr zufrieden und können Florian als Lehrer uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Breit gefächertes Instrumentarium und wirklich kompetente Fachkräfte in allen möglichen Stilrichtungen. Es ist wärmstens zu empfehlen! Danke Florian, Christian und Walid!

Meine Tochter hat mit 7 Jahren bei Florian mit Schlagzeug begonnen und hat in kurzer Zeit sehr viel gelernt. Florian ist ein toller Pädagoge, der sehr gut erklären kann. O-Ton Tochter: Es macht Spaß und er bringt mir was bei.Die Räumlichkeiten sind zentral gelegen und auch öffentlich sehr gut zu erreichen.Alles in allem eine große Empfehlung!

I have been having lessons at this school for the last few months with Walid as my teacher. I started as a total beginner. Walid is a good and patient teacher. The lessons basically introduce new techniques and exercises step by step in a way that keeps things interesting and challenging but is also a lot of fun. When something new at first seems difficult, Walid is able to find another way to explain it or break it down to more simple steps and then soon after it doesn’t seem so difficult.From the beginning we also use the new skills in a musical way, such as playing along to a backing track or well known songs which is a great feeling. The lessons are also a good mix of technique, theory and concepts - such as explaining song structures and a drummer’s approach to different parts of the song in different musical styles etc.The lessons are satisfying as I could clearly see progress each week. We do the lessons in English so that is also convenient for me (of course German is also possible). So overall, if you’ve ever thought of trying drums I can really recommend Walid as a teacher!

Ich kann die Vienna Drum School nur jedem empfehlen. Ich habe seit fast zwei Jahren Unterricht bei Walid und noch immer so viel Freude wie am ersten Tag. Walid gestaltet den Unterricht höchst individuell und bringt einen damit den eigenen Zielen näher. Besonders taugt mir die gelungene Balance zwischen Technik, Theorie, Gefühl fürs Instrument und den unterschiedlichen musikalischen Perspektiven und Stilrichtungen!

My son (7 y.o. now) has been training drums with Florian for a year and a half and we are very satisfied. Florian competently, interestingly and qualitatively conveys the material to the child. He feels and sees the individual characteristics of the student, owns the methods and techniques of pedagogical skill, and makes the lessons not boring and dynamic. My son grasps the material quickly. Thank you!

This is a great school. My teacher Florian is a patient and very good teacher, with a lot of experience, and is very friendly. He can do lessons in English which is a great help. He is very good in both teaching the techniques, such as rudiments, but also getting you to practice playing along to songs. I would highly recommend Florian and the Vienna drum school.
