To call it a museum is probably a stretch. It’s an interesting couple of rooms displaying marionettes. No more then ten minutes out of your day and free to explore.

Один из самых неожиданных музеев внутри средневековой крепости. То есть вы ожидаете увидеть старинные пушки, оружие, внутренние покои крепости, но не музей марионеток. Очень детально выполненные фигурки, сценки демонстрируют разные эпохи и события. Заглянуть на 5 минут интересно.

We were here years ago pre-kids; there was an area where you could have a go with the puppets, and overall it was charming. We were looking forward to visiting again with our daughter but now the only interactive element is a video game and the woman in the gift shop shouts at you if you touch the toys they sell.

It’s good addition to the visit to the castle but nothing special, I would not recommend going there specifically. The collection of dolls is not big and there are no special exponents.Notice that you need to enter the castle for this museum therefore you need to have a ticket. I recommend to purchase Salzburg card.

In diesem Museum ist eine interaktive Wand verbaut, die einem über den großen Brand informiert. Wirklich sehr interessant.

I was already inside the fortress when I saw the museum is the first step before to continue to the fortress entrance.The museum is nice displayed with beautiful marionettes , scenography and music in the back ground.The entrance is free , highly recommend to visit this place
