Maneira de chegar ao vilarejo caso venha de trem, a poucos passos da estação de trem esta o local de saida do ferry/barco. O serviço acontece de certa forma de acordo com a chega e saida de trens do local, a paisagem é belissima e o percurso nao dura nem 15 minutos. Custa 3,5 euros (7 euros ida e volta) e só aceitam dinheiro, boa parte dos estabelecimentos na vila também não aceitam cartão.

Die Fahrt ist schön und das Schiff wartet auf den Zug. Auch bei der Retourfahrt. Jedoch muss man schon aufpassen dass man nicht die letzte Fähre versäumt. Vor allem wenn man das Salzbergwerk besucht , ein bisschen durch die Stadt bummelt und noch essen gehen will.

Da es eine kleine Schiffsanlegestelle ist, kann man hier nur mit Bargeld bezahlen. Da man direkt am Seeufer wartet und dann gleich in die Fähre ⛴ einsteigt. Absolut der schönste Weg nach Hallstatt-Markt, wo man sehr gut den Ort betrachten kann, wie die Häuser in den Berg hinein gebaut wurden, einfach wunderschön.
